Lakshmi Ananth
Lakshmi Ananth is a practising ENT, head and neck surgeon and has faculty position at a medical college. She is specially interested in surgery for hearing, endoscopic sinus surgery, allergies and head and neck cancers. She is passionate about her work, especially the prevention and cure of head and neck cancers, some of which have an excellent prognosis when detected early enough.
She has been a freelance writer from her student days and has been published in several magazines and newspapers. With her fascination for explaining things to the layman in non-technical terms, she enjoys being the feature writer for Anatomy and Physiology.
She has too many interests to list, but loves to write, travel, knit, crossword and learn new arts whenever she can take time off from work.
